Robert Walz is an Associate Professor in the BYU School of Communications, bringing more than four decades of experience in journalism, marketing, education, and public advocacy. A former television news anchor and reporter, he combines professional storytelling expertise with academic insight. His teaching and research explore the future of communications, including how artificial intelligence is reshaping media, business, and higher education. He also teaches world religion at BYU through the lens of popular culture.
